Weekly Challenge # 7 - Tuesday

#7
Challenge: Color Challenge use Purple, Green and Yellow.
(it does not have to be an A Muse stamp set)
Dates: February 19, 2013 thru February 25, 2013

Need some inspiration? It's Janet from http://janetscreativeworld.blogspot.com/ with some ideas! These colors conjure up thoughts of Mardi Gras! Here in the midwest, that's not a huge event, except for the bars and their parties! I saw these sketches online and decided to start there. On the first one, I used embossing folders to resemble the beautiful iron work in New Orleans. Added some bling (Amuse) layered the other colors in color blocks that are embossed as well. Reminds me of all the textures in the parade! Stamped my sentiment (Amuse) and put it behind a metal embellishment. All papers by Amuse.

This stamp (Amuse) reminds me of the wrought iron that is prevelant in New Orleans. Can't you picture it hanging on one of the beautiful porches? I think this little bird has escaped to watch the parade perhaps! I added a bow, some bling (Amuse) to accent his cage. I inked all edges of the paper on both cards. The colors are so rich and deep but I don't think the photo does it justice! Amuse cardstock is just wonderful to work with! The stamps are wonderful as well!

I hope you will join us for this week's challenge. Go to Cuttin and Stampin Challenge Blog to enter your creation. I can't wait to see them!
Don't forget to get your own Amuse Products (and you won't be disappointed!)

Please make sure your blog posts has a link back to us.
