Weekly Challenge #6 Tuesday, February 12th thru February 18th.
Use and animal in your creation.
(you don't need to use an A Muse stamp to enter)
Hello Everyone, this is Tammy. Hope you are all having a great Presidents Day weekend. Hubby and I decided are celebrating a belated Valentine's Day.
I created a quick and simple card for him this year. I've been taking a Clean and Simple Card class and trying to use some of the techniques we learned.
I used a cherry card stock base and pink gingham check for they layer. The sentiment base is cherry and was cut out with the Vintage Label 1 die cut. The stamp set is called Tweet Heart.
So now's your chance to create something with an animal. You have until midnight Monday night to enter your creations.
Also going on now until February 17th.

I stamped the tree with Versamark ink first and used Onyx embossing powder. Then I stamped the birds and embossed them.
I used the white embossing powder on the sentiment. I like how it popped, once I did that.

What a lovely card Tammy! I think it is so "tweet" and love how the embossing really makes it pop! I have not pulled out my old embossing gun since I did stamping like 10 years ago...I guess I need to get over my fear again and JUST DO IT!
