Time for something Girly

Hello everyone, Lynda here to share with you project for our next challenge.
We were lucky enough to be given these amazing Prima products to create with:
PRIMA FLOWER EMBELLISHMENTS
PRIMA LAZER CUT CHIPBOARD

PRIMA PAPER PACK

 PRIMA CLEAR STAMPS

For my card I started by stamping the jar onto a scrap piece of acetate.  I then cut it out very carefully.  I then covered my card front with this wonderful pattern paper.  I then stamped the fairy and butterfly onto the pattern paper.  I stamped the jar onto a scrap piece of grey cardstock and trimmed the lid.  I adhered the grey cardstock the the acetate and layered the acetate over the stamped fairy and butterfly.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Prima coffee line onto cream cardstock and inked it to match the pattern paper.  I then fussy cut the image and attached it to my card front using staples; lining them up the the ones in the stamped image.  I then added the crystal rose next to the sentiment.

I adore this pattern paper and hope that you fill join our girly challenge this time.  Be sure to link up your project to the blog post!

Happy crafting...Lynda

Biweekly Challenge 10 - Something Girly #1

It's time for something girly!!  We've put together some wonderful projects that you'll be seeing over the next two weeks, and each of them feature the Prima clear stamps and the Prima Jodie Lee Butterfly Collection paper pack.

My project shows the fairy trapped in a jar.  The jar is paper-pieced with a grey lid.  The fairy was stamped with Memento ink in Rhubarb Stalk.  Then, I added some highlights to her with a Rhubarb Stalk marker.  If you look closely, you can see that I colored in her hair, made pleats in the skirt, etc.

The flower on the bottom left corner was made from two Prima mulberry flowers and the pearls are Prima, too.

So, what do you say?   Would you like to join us by making your own "Girly" project?  Remember, "girly" can mean lots of different things -- colors, flowers, bling, etc.

Happy Stamping!
Kim R.

Bi-Weekly Challenge #9 - Gold Project 4

Hi everyone, Doris from MomsBeenScrappin here
to share my project for the Gold challenge.

The Cuttin' and Stampin' design team was inspired by the new

I live in New Jersey, and we've had so much snow
this winter, so these papers and die cuts
made me thing of spring.  I used several of the
die cuts with the gold trim and cut a few stars with my
Cricut Explore, and used that as a tie in with
the Lawn Fawn stamp sentiment.

Now it's your turn.

For my project, I created a file folder card!  The file folder is kind of appropriate for the typewriter embellishment!  I stamped the sentiment on the tab and layered two more embellishments over the typewriter and stamped the stars to go along with the sentiment.  The arrow point is gold and the butterfly in the left corner is also gold.

For my project, I altered a mini-journal.
All those fun I Am Bits and Pieces were just perfect for this project.
As for the paper, LOVE it!
I heat embossed (in gold) the sentiment for Lucky Stars on black paper.
Then I adhered it to that globe!  Then I just started layering different elements and adding some gold washi tape from my stash to add a bit more bling!

Now it's your turn.
