We are using  Pebbles Americana collection including wood mounted stamps all of which you can find at the Cuttin' and Stampin' facebook store
Michele from Stuff By Belle here today and I am sharing a card full of the good 'ole red, white and blue...

The card base in cut from Bazzill Basics all the patterned paper is the Pebbles Americana.  I used Distress markers on the flag stamp and archival ink for the label.  The chipboard stars are UmWow Studio star confetti, the white one are painted with Distress paint and Distress glitter and the red are stickles.  I used modeling paste in the UWS star confetti mask, I painted a layer of wink of Stella on the paste but it is impossible to photograph the SPARKLE!

You still have a couple of days to get your Word Bubble project linked up on our challenge blog.
I can't wait to see what you create!

Step-by-Step Wednesday - Green Team #14-25 - Fourth of July

Week 25
June 24, 2014 to June 30, 2014
4th of July

Hello everyone.  Can you believe it's the last week of June?  Where did the time go?

Are you ready to celebrate the USA's birthday?  To help kick off the festivities Cuttin' and Stampin' is creating 4th of July cards/projects.

The Cuttin' and Stampin' design team is using Pebbles Americana paper collection and stamp set this week.

6x6 paper pad

Journal cards

Wood mount stamps

Chipboard pieces

For this weeks Step-by-step Wednesday project, I have created a patriotic tag.  Our family celebrates our Nations birthday each year with friends, fireworks and fun!  I will be using this tag on a scrapbook layout!

Here is my finished tag!  I LOVE it!!

Started with a 3 x 6 rectangle of one of the blue papers from the Americana collection.  Rounded some corners and then inked them all with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain.

I then grabbed the postmark stamp and a Stampin Up White ink pad.  I created the tag background.

The pocket was created by using Paper Smooches Denim & Daisies die set and stamps.  The red checkered paper is also from the Americana collection.

According to my 7 year old daughter "everything is better with sparkles!"  To which I completely agree!  So stickles it is!

The sticks are nothing more than a shish-ka-bob skewer from my kitchen!  You could cut it all nice and neat, but for my needs (and for lack of a cutting utensil handy), I just snapped them at an appropriate length!  Some glue dots and pop-up squares later and I have a pinwheel and flag!

This was super fun to create!  My daughter did have some opinion on the star in the background!  Brad, eyelet and ribbon are all from my stash.
Now it's your turn to create something special for the 4th of July and enter it in this weeks contest.   Add your link Here and have a link on your post that leads back to us.

Thanks for playing along.

Until next time!  Have fun creating!

Karen N here from Craftily Yours, excited to be sharing today's mixed media birthday post made with these wonderful Jillibean products available at the Cuttin' and Stampin' Scrappy Supply Store!

To create the background, I pulled out all my Tim Holtz distress paints and Dylusions sprays in gold, blue, yellow and pink to match the pretty paper and just started splatting. Splat, splat, splat. I had splats everywhere! Fun! After it all dried, I wanted to add a beige tone, so I added some distress ink in Antique Linen. And of course, I needed something sparkly - i.e. sequins.

Craftily yours,

Karen

Hi everyone, Lynda here to share with you another project featuring these wonderful products from Jillibean Soup.  It just so happens that my youngest is turning ten in a few short weeks, so I decided that I would use these great number stamps to make her card.  The problem is that there isn't a 10 in the image...but there are a few number combinations on the image that do add up to ten....so I first stamped the image onto the wonderful blue pattern paper and cut out the numbers "1" and "9".  Then drew and cut out a plus sign.  I then stamped the image onto a piece of cream cardstock and added the cutout numbers to the image.  I then mounted the image onto the fun pattern paper.  I then decided that the image still needed a little something, so I stamped the Celebrate Today around the edge of my card to create a border.  I then inked all my edges and assembled my card front.

I then stamped the same numbers image onto the blue pattern paper and fussy cut the number "1" again.  I then cut just the round part of the number "6" and used a black pen to turn it into the "0" that I needed for my number ten!  I then drew and cut out the equal sign.  I then added them all to the inside of my card to complete the math equation.

I think she'll like her card...and I know I really think it turned out cute.

So...pull out your supplies and create something for our birthday challenge and link it up for a chance to win!!

Pocket Thursday - 14-24: Birthdays

Weekly Challenge 14-24
Birthdays

Hi everyone, Doris here with some
Pocket Page layouts.
For this week's challenge, we're celebrating birthdays,
and I used some papers from the
Jillibean Birthday Bisque Paper line and stamp set.
These products and so much more are available at

My daughters know that when it's their birthday, I'm
going to take their pictures, no matter how old they get,
and this year was no exception.
The first is from my oldest daughter's
surprise 30th birthday party which had
an Irish/Scottish theme and was held in an Irish Pub.

Next is for middle daughter who asked for an
ice cream cake this year, and milk :)

And last but not least is the baby of
the family who asks for the same thing
every year - a big bowl of chocolate dirt cake!

As you can see, I used lots of bits and pieces of the
Jillibean Birthday Bisque paper and die cut elements
for each of the cards - this is a great set!
