Biweekly Challenge 4 Winter Project

Hi Everyone, Lynda here to share with you a project I created for our latest challenge.
Our challenge for the next two weeks is winter.  Make something that is related to winter.

I received some pieces from the All Bundled up line from Carta Bella and the Yeti, Set, Go stamp set by Lawn Fawn.

For my card I decided that the Yeti needed to be given some special treatment, so I paper pieced him.  I stamped him onto two different blue pattern papers from the kit.  One for his belly and the other for his face and hands.  I then colored him with my Copics.  I then covered my card base with this wonderful blue pattern paper and stamped the snowflakes and sentiment onto the paper.  I then trimmed white cardstock to look like drifting snow and added it to the bottom.  I then stamped the trees numerous times onto white cardstock, colored them with my Copics, and fussy cut them out.  I then added the trees and yeti to the card using foam tape.  I then added Copic Opaque white to the trees and snowflakes for dimension.

You can find these fun products in the Cuttin' and Stampin' store here on facebook.

I hope you'll take our challenge and link up your project to this blog post here.

Happy crafting...Lynda

The paper is awesome!  I added some brads from my stash.  The twine (graphite grey) and sequins (sparkly clear) are from Timeless Twine and Bella Creationz!

Biweekly Challenge 4 - Winter Project 1

Merry Christmas, Papercrafters!!  We hope you're all warm & safe, and that you're surrounded by family and friends this holiday.

Our challenge for the next two weeks is winter.  We've been inspired by the All Bundled Up line from Carta Bella and the Yeti, Set, Go stamp set by Lawn Fawn.  These are the items we worked with, which are available at Cuttin and Stampin Scrappy Supplies:

For my project, I liked the idea of a wintery scene without having it be Christmas-y or actually saying winter.  I went with the snowman sticker from Carta Bella with his arms outstretched.  It seemed to coordinate perfectly with the "need a hug?" saying from the Lawn Fawn stamp set.  Unfortunately, lots of people get the blues in the winter... this would be a great card to help cheer them up!

The grey, snowy paper made a great background.  I added a rolling hill which can be cut by hand or, in this case, I used a pair of Paper Smooches dies -- one for the cut and one for the stitches.  And, a little glitter (or Stickles) goes a long way on a card like this by adding some glisten to the snow.

I'm more of a CAS (clean & simple) stamper, but this card could be dressed up even further with things like black gems on the eyes & buttons of the snowman, pop dots behind the snowman sticker, bling in the snowflake background... there are a thousand ways to add to it.

Whether you like 'em fancy or plain, we would love to see your projects!   Please see Tuesday's post to enter yours.

Happy Stamping & Merry Christmas!

Bi Weekly Challenge 2- Autumn Flowers

Hello everyone, Cathy here, and I am pleased to be here as a Design team member once again for Cuttin' & Stampin'.   We all took a little break, but are here now ready to create again and play with  lots of fun products.  We will be using :  Fancy Pants Burlap & Bouquets.

The challenge starts 11/25 and runs till the next one starts

December 9th.  The challenges are going to run for 2 weeks..

so with no further ado... here is my project for the Autumn Flowers challenge.

First I made a card using the burlap ribbon, I LOVE it.  I also embellished it with the chipboard feather and the adorable pockes and the adorable button that comes with the set.

I then used some of the extra pattern paper to make a gift envelope, and added a tag from the set. Love the flowers.

There were also chipboard flowers..

On the inside of the card I added the flower sticker in the corner to dress it up.

Here are some of the products i used which can be found at the Cuttin'& Stampin' Scrappy Supply store

SO, hope you like my projects and it inspires you to create your own..head over to the Cuttin' & Stampin Scrappy Supply store, get your craft on and enter the challenge here

Biweekly Challenge 2 Autumn Flowers - projects by Lynda

Hello....Lynda here to share with you a few projects I created using the fabulous supplies from the Cuttin' and Stampin' store for this challenge.

I've used some of the following products on my projects:

Fancy Pants Burlap & Bouquets collection.

Buttons
These products and so much more are available at

For my first two cards I took some of the solid colored pattern paper and trimmed it to it fit onto my card base leaving a small border.  I then used some of the trimmed pieces to create a strip to go across the card front.  I then added the diecut floral accent to the front of each card.

in addition to the floral diecut, I added the feather diecut to this card:

for my next card I did the same process, but used a piece of the pattern paper:

For my final card I covered my entire card base with the pattern paper.  I then added a strip of a coordinating piece of pattern paper to the card front on the top.  I then added the burlap bow that I topped with the button (tied off with twine).  I tucked the diecut tag up and behind the bow and the card was coplete.

I hope you'll join in the fun and link up your Autumn flowers theme project to the blog post here.

Happy crafting....Lynda
