Challenge: Breast Cancer Awareness
October 8 - 14th, 2013
As a two time breast cancer survivor, the month of October has special meaning to me. It gives me an opportunity to dedicate my favorite color, Pink, to breast Cancer Awareness!
I used the Paper Smooches Hope stamp and die sets for my card, along with some awesome colors of Bazzill Pink Cardstock! The cardbase for my card is Bazzill Date Swirl, a soft gray color. I used SU Pixie Pink ink. The larger ribbon at the top was first stamped then die cut. The words hope and the smaller ribbon were diecut from Bazzill cardstock, no ink. I also used an embossing folder and a border punch along with a pale pink Taffeta ribbon strip and bow on my card.

You can purchase your own Paper Smooches Hope stamp set and die on sale on the Weekly Deal page.

Love your card Vickie. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis is a simply beautiful card! I love how you embossed the background. So happy to hear you are a survivor and I wish you continued good health!
