Challenge:   Mimi Album

Hello Everyone.  Tammy here with another mini album to inspire you for this weeks challenge.  

I started this album for a close friends daughter that's getting married. I have watched quite a few YouTube videos trying to learn how to create mini albums.  I combined the idea the the mini envelope tutorial from Cassie Keith and the stacked hinge system from Follow the Paper Trail. 

Here's the front cover.  I don't want to over do the front.  I was working on some flowers for the front and my husband told me he liked it plain and to leave it alone. 

The base of this page is the envelope.  I have matted the front and added a pocket with a 1/2" gusset so more tags can be added.  It's hard to see by there's a card that has been matted in the pocket.  

The envelope was sealed and then had just a smidgen cut off the end creating a full size pocket and I've matted a card to create a photo mat. 

Here's the waterfall that's on the inside cover.  Each one of the mats can hold a 2 1/2" square picture and leaves the back for journalling. 

Here's a look at the binding.  The last page is hard to see but there's four of the 3-envelope page set ups.

Teresa R. here from Fresh and Renewed. I have this fabulous mini album for you today. Check out my blog for all the pictures of the inside pages. I fell in love with this little Bo Bunny album several years ago. I made a family album to take with me on a visit back home to see other extended family with that one. Imagine my wonder and surprise when one of these lovely little album popped up on a selling/buying group I am part of...so I bought it knowing exactly these pictures would be the perfect event to use in this album. Hope you enjoy.

Happy Saturday, friends!   Kim here from Card-E-ology with the last Case It challenge card.

Many people think of CASE as Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Steal Everything.  My take on it is a bit different.  I prefer "Copy And Selectively Edit".  You don't have to copy everything... just borrow the good stuff.  Add your very own flair, tweak it and make it suit your needs!

Here's the card I found on Pinterest that I'll CASE today:

It's adorable!  But I need a card for my nephew who's turning seven, so I'm going to need something a little more grown up.  I think that some bolder colors (less pastel blue) and less bow would help fit the bill.   Here's my take on it:

My card features the "Mac" line from Bazzill Basics patterned paper, journaling card, and border sticker along with Bazzill dotted green cardstock and white pre-cut number (colored grey with Memento ink, as shown below, to match the sentiment).  The balloon is cut out using an Accucut die, and then I balloon string is drawn with a very thin Copic marker.  The sentiment is from the Paper Smooches "Sentiment Sampler" set.

Teresa R. here from over at Fresh and Renewed. I LOVE "Scraplifting" cause it gives you an idea to use as a springboard. I found this card right around the time we were doing the umbrella challenge and already had this adorable stamp set I had never used, so wanted to try this. I know, I know, Spring is officially over. I will probably hang onto this card and use it next year and brighten someone's day with it. Anyhow, here is my take on the card.

Challenge:  Father's Day

Hi Challengers!  This is Kim from Card-E-ology with a Father's Day project to share.  My dad & I are travel buddies.  We've been from coast to coast and everywhere in between, and also to Europe, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.  It seems like we're always planning a trip.  There are a few new places on our list:  Maine during some type of lobster festival, The Smithsonian, etc.

This card features stamps from Unity Stamp Company.  The ribbon is beautiful hand-dyed silk from The Thread Gatherer.  All the other embellishments (ticket, brad, vellum tape, & plastic tab) are from BasicGrey.
