Letter Q - Quilted card front

 Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Letter of the Day from My Cricut Craft Room.  As part of the design team, I've been thinking about this post for about three weeks.  The word Quilt come to me right away and I've spent the time trying to figure out how to make some cuts to create quilt.

Well, I couldn't quite piece a quilt top together so I used the gypsy and searched the word quilt.  There were a few cuts that come up.  I really liked the one from Paper Lace.

So, I decided to create a card with a quilted cut on the front.  I used Paper Lace to cut the quilt top and a shadow piece.

Now I have the quilt top cut out, what do I do with it?  So the colors and the paper stack I used reminded me of fall or Thanksgiving.  So I used the same shadow cut on the gypsy and unlinked the size ratio and mad a label.  Then I used designer Calender and cut out Give Thanks.

It really needed a few extras so I covered the words with glitter and added a few rhinestones.  Here's the end result.

This is a simple square card using the quilt cut on the Paper Lace cartridges.  For more creative ideas using the Letter Q, stop by My Cricut Craft Room.
