Challenge:   Graduation
June 4 - 10, 2013

Hello Crafty Friends.  This is Tammy for a second day with another Graduation card.

This one I created for my nephew Weston.  He graduated from Stansbury High and the logo for the school is a stallion coming through a horseshoe.  So I wanted the card to represent the the school.

I started with a horseshoe and used silver stickles to fill the holes.

I cut a hat and used CTMH Clear Glass to ad a little sparkle to the tassel.  I tilted it so that it looks like it's hanging off the horseshoe.

Here's the whole card

Here's the inside.  The backside of the blue SHS paper is the black and white polk a dots.

I had to put a few more cards together real quick for other graduates.  I like to make the cards match the school colors so that's why they are purple and blue.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Be sure to enter your graduation creations to the challenge blog.

Challenge: Graduation
June 4 - 10, 2013

Hello Crafty Friends,

This week we are celebrating all those that are Graduating. So this week we are bringing you so great Graduation cards.

My card for today is for a young lady that is graduating from High School. Jacie was a Cheerleader during her years and I wanted to recognize that. So I started with a great digi cheerleader and used copic markers to color her red and black.

I wanted it to look like the Cheerleader had the graduation cap on, but I think I cut it to small.

I used CTMH Clear Glass to brighten the pom-poms and tassel.
Here's what I've done on the inside.
Now it's your turn to share your Graduation Creations.

Challenge:   Graduation
June 4 - 10, 2013

Hello Crafty Friends!
This is Teresa from CreateEnjoyShare.blogspot.com and it is my turn to share a project with you!
. This week we are featuring
Graduation cards.

For my card, I found this super cute cut file from the Silhouette America site and cut it on my Cameo.
I thought this cut was perfect just as it was and did not need anything else - therefore a quick and simple card.  My crafty MoJo has taken a bit of a vacation without me - so quick and simple is just up my alley!

In addition to the cut file, all I needed to do was add a little bit of twine
to make the tassel on the graduation cap and added some liquid pearls around the swirls for
a bit of interest.
I cut a label, also a Silhouette file and stamped "Congratulations" on it and
my card was completed!
How is that for simple and fast?
Please head over to my blog, Create Enjoy Shareo see more photos and a few more details.
Now let's see your graduation creations!  We'd love you to join in the Challenge with us!

Challenge:   Graduation
June 4 - 10, 2013

Hello! If you know of someone who is graduating, or perhaps it's yourself, here's a cute little card to wish them the very best. I sent this to my niece and the colors are her high school's colors. You can adapt those to personalize your card. This was so easy to cut out on my Cameo from a cutting file, (a free one from Creative Kuts.com) A fold, added the cap, the word, and a tassle, and no hassle here!

It'd make a great layout as well and I love to put these kind of things in my albums, with special notes that not everyone needs to read, but a personal message to whomever is in the photo.. years later, it might come to the light of day and touch someone... so Happy Graduation to all and here's hoping you're successful in whatever field you're going into! Remember, success isn't about money, it's about making a life you love! check out my blog for other projects: http://janetscreativeworld.blogspot.com/

Challenge: Use a Photo
May 28 - June 3, 2013

Hello Everyone!

Doris from Mom's Been Scrappin here today to share my project for this week's challenge. When this project came up on our challenge schedule, the first thing I thought of was a layout to get my scrapbooking kick-started again. But that was the obvious choice, and I'm trying to push myself to go outside my comfort zone, so I decided on a special little project.

My daughter is getting married in December and we're getting into "wedding mode" lately. She had already sent out her Save the Date cards, but I wanted to make a special one and this is what I came up with. I kept it simple and used my Silhouette Cameo again with the print and cut feature, just added their picture and I was done. I have it hanging in my craft room and on the back I have a list of things the "Mother of the Bride" needs to get done soon :)

Ok, your turn - let's see your projects that include a picture. We'd love you to link up and join our challenge! Please make sure your blog posts has a link back to us.
